UT Grad 2013: Sarah Pt. 1

When Sarah came to me asking for a senior photoshoot, I told her it would have to be done completely on film. She agreed without a hesitation - so I applaud her bravery and the amount of trust she put in this. Here are a few shots of my dear friend Sarah. Congratulations, and welcome to the real world. ;)

Leaving the Quiet

Stills from lomography lady gray of my lovely home, taken about more than a month ago. Even though I know I will be back soon, it's always weird leaving it behind. So much peace and love here.

More NYC: Brooklyn Bridge

More photos from the Nikon FM10 of exploring Dumbo and Brooklyn Bridge with Janie and Kayeon. We decided we were going to walk across it to commit to the full touristy mode. It was my first time - and I obviously fell in love with it hard. Too many photos, perhaps. Some architecture amazes me, especially bridges.

Exploring DUMBO!

I was in New York last week for about 5 days for job searching and interviews. Well. I actually ended up having way more fun than I had anticipated thanks to some of the most wonderful friends that are making it big in the city. They came with me to Dumbo to support me with my interviews, and we explored the area afterwards. Feeling so blessed and thankful.

I fell in love with Dumbo, by the way. It's just over the bridge across from manhattan, but it's drastically quieter and relaxed. Maybe I'm getting old or something, but being in this part of Brooklyn gave me a breather and helped me to appreciate every little corner that had its own characteristics.

Downtown Austin: SXSW

It took me forever to develop this roll of film simply because it's always difficult to find labs that process B&W film for a decent price. I would say I'm a pretty big fan of black and white film, since that's how I started out in college, but I rarely shoot them now due to the high cost. This time around though, I happened to find a pack of Lomography B&W 400 film on sale at Urban Outfitters, so I said why not. So I apologize for going back in time, can't believe it's already been a month since SXSW.
